The first time I got to know the concept of Gamification happened to be when I took a Chinese literature class last semester. The professor asked us to adapt a Chinese novel into an open ending game. Other students can make different choices for the characters in the play according to their own understanding. I became extremely interested in this assignment. If the professor just asked me to read this novel, it might be difficult for me to read it, because I hardly focus on monotonous text, but when the professor asked us to create a game, I would be very happy to read every detail in the novel carefully to speculate about the different choices that readers may make, which also gave me different insights into the novel.

My group members and I use Twine to create a game. With the consent of my group members, I showed below the game we made.
