I agree with the idea of using double coding in teaching, students will better understand knowledge because verbal teaching and visual teaching can improve students’ comprehension and attract students’ interest. Through your introduction, I have also developed a further understanding of dual coding. For example, dual coding helps to reduce the cognitive burden on students’ memory work and helps students remember this knowledge for a long time. I really liked how you explained and I am wondering if you can tell me more about does dual coding theory only apply to Indo-European languages teaching and how about other subjects or other languages?
